The GDAEBN organised two test visits to the mobile slaughterhouse in May and June 2023 with two slaughter trials of two Noire de Thibar lambs.

Within the framework of the JESMED project, mainly in the WP4 (INSTALLATION OF AN INNOVATIVE SLAUGHTERING AND CUTTING SYSTEM), the GDAEBN organised, in collaboration with the project partners INAT, GIVLAIT, DGPA and ISSBAT, two visits for the provisional testing of the mobile slaughterhouse, in May and June 2023, with two slaughter trials of two Noire de Thibar lambs. Indeed, these tests made it possible to determine the points to be improved in the slaughtering process and to verify the conformity of the equipment with the specifications of the technical clauses. An atmosphere of exchange and sharing among participants, whose objective is to have a functional slaughterhouse as soon as possible, which can help farmers to commercialise better quality products.
